SALT LAKE CITY — A Draper man stabbed two women in a Wyoming hotel early Thursday, killing one of them and injuring the other, police said.
Bradley Ross Fairbourn, 18, was arrested by Rock Springs police about 1:30 a.m. after they responded to an incident at the Quality Inn, 1670 Sunset Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Fairbourn was booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center for investigation of murder and attempted murder.
Naisha Story, 29, of South Jordan, was found at the hotel "with multiple stab wounds as the result of an altercation," the Rock Springs Police Department said in a statement. Story was taken to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, where she died.
The other injured woman was taken to the same hospital and then airlifted to University Hospital in Salt Lake City. Her condition was not immediately known.
The Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office assisted in responding "to a report of a physical disturbance," Rock Springs police said. No other details about what occurred were released Thursday.
