SALT LAKE CITY — The wait is over. Well, close enough.

On Monday, through the Netflix Media Center, the company released the start date of their exclusive partnership with Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar. In September, consumers of the giant paid film and television streaming service will be able to watch “the latest films” from the previously mentioned studios.

Binge watch or stream on the go? Films including "Finding Dory," "Captain America: Civil War," and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will all be options for Netflix's over 46 million U.S. subscribers.

Netflix acquired rights to Walt Disney Studios films in December 2012. However, the exact date the partnership would begin wasn’t revealed at the time. According to the LA Times, “the three-year deal was worth over 300 million per year.” Netflix outbid Starz for the contract, who owns the rights to the studios until the end of August.

The partnership is not the first between Marvel and Netflix. The Bay Area Company is already home to Marvel TV series, "Daredevil" and "Jessica Jones." "Iron Fist," "The Defenders," and "The Punisher" series will be added to the lineup in the future.

To help customers pass the time until September, Netflix also publicized a lineup of classic blockbusters for the warm-weather months. The additions include the "Jurassic Park" trilogy in June, "Back to the Future" and "Lethal Weapon" in July, and "The Fast & The Furious" in August.
