HOGWARTS — Growing up as a bookworm, there were plenty of fictional adventures I would’ve died to do myself. I wished I could transform into an animal like an Animorph, get a custom-made dream blown into my window from the BFG and travel to the past like in “A Wrinkle in Time.”
Just like every other young adult reader coming of age in the early 2000s, I became obsessed with the magical “Harry Potter” series when it was released. As much as I wanted to ride a Hippogriff, cast spells, or use a time turner to take a few extra courses like Hermione, there’s something universally appealing about riding a broom.

The Facebook video had 10 million views in just 48 hours.
