OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Joel Bolomboy scored 22 points and tied his career-high with 23 rebounds to help Weber State to a 63-50 win over Sacramento State Thursday night and remain one game behind Montana for the Big Sky Conference lead.

The double-double was the 6-foot-9 senior's third 20-point, 20-rebound game this season. Bolomboy is one of 10 finalists for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award. Bolomboy also is tied for the Division-I with 21 double-doubles.

Jeremy Senglin added 17 points for Weber State (17-7, 9-2). The Wildcats shot 22-for-61 for a season-low 63 points.

Sacramento State (10-12, 3-8) also had a season low in scoring, led by 11 points apiece from Justin Strings and Marcus Graves. The Hornets shot 32 percent from the floor (18-56).

Bolomboy opened the game with three foul shots and Weber State never trailed.

Cody Demps scored eight points for the Hornets after missing nine games to injury.
