SALT LAKE CITY — High school hoops is rolling into the second half of the season, heading down the stretch toward the state playoffs.

Lone Peak boys look to be the favorite in Class 5A, but they faced a tough test this week against Westlake.

In the 5A girls, Copper Hills has surprised many by jumping out to a 16-0 start. We went to West Jordan to try to find out the key to their success.

Brandon Gurney of the Deseret News also stopped by to talk about National Signing Day, which is Wednesday at schools across the state. Are there any surprises in store for BYU, Utah or Utah State?
