POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — Ethan Telfair scored 30 points — including the buzzer-beating game-winning jumper — and Idaho State dealt Weber State its first Big Sky Conference loss, 69-68 on Saturday.
Weber State's Joel Bolomboy hit a jumper with 31 seconds left to take a one-point lead. Moments later after a turnover, Telfair walked the ball up, then dribbled to the right wing, crossed-over a defender, and watched his jumper from just inside the 3-point line fall as he slid on his rear out of bounds.
Telfair scored the last 11 points of the game for Idaho State (8-10, 3-3 Big Sky), including seven consecutive free throws. He hit four 3-pointers and had six assists. Geno Luzcando added 15 points.
Weber State (13-6, 5-1) led by six with 2:35 left. The Wildcats were paced by Jeremy Senglin with 20 points. Bolomboy finished with 13 points and seven boards, and Dusty Baker added 11 points.
