SALT LAKE CITY — The driver of a University of Utah shuttle bus was killed in a crash Saturday morning.

Officials believe James Lamb, 72, experienced some kind of medical condition and crashed into a wall near Fort Douglas and Research Park. Lamb was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, said University of Utah spokeswoman Maria O'Mara.

"It appeared to be a very slow speed impact," she said, adding there was minimal damage to the bus and wall.

O'Mara said the bus was being moved for cleaning. No passengers were on the bus at the time and no one else was injured in the accident.
