LAYTON — A 12-year-old girl who was reported missing after she didn't come home from school Wednesday showed up at Central Davis Junior High for school Thursday morning.

Angel Legalsi, 12, had last been seen Wednesday around 3 p.m. at the school, which is located at 663 N. Church St.

Layton police said she walked into school around 7:45 a.m. Thursday. They were working to find out where she had spent the night.

Earlier police asked the public's help to find her and said she was missing under "unknown circumstances." Due to her age and lack of contact with her parents, police were concerned that she was in danger. She had no history of running away, they said.

Also, there was no reason to believe she had a conflict with her family, police said.

Updates will be posted as they become available.
