LOS ANGELES — If soap operas are your jam and Taylor Swift is your homegirl, Christmas has come early for you, my friend.
"The Bold and the Lyrical" — starring James Corden as James Cordone, Julianne Moore as Juliette Moore and John Stamos as John Stamosa — has it all: heartache, love, tension and jealousy.
You know, the stuff only the best soaps are made of. But also the stuff of Taylor Swift songs.
So why not stage the world's greatest breakup with dialogue stolen from the lyrics of the queen of breakups? That's exactly what's done here, and it's pretty fabulous.
Don't get too hooked, though — "The Bold and the Lyrical" will only break your heart. It's just a one-time gag for "The Late Late Show with James Corden."
Shake it off. Shake it off.
