WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — A 30-year-old woman in West Valley City is accused of going on a rampage that included stabbing her own mother several times.

West Valley police say Dianna Robles has been booked on one count each of attempted murder, aggravated assault and other offenses.

Officers were called to a trailer park Sunday around 5:30 a.m. in regards to a stabbing.

Police say Robles stabbed her 48-year-old mother seven times and then tried to break into a neighboring trailer.

She allegedly attacked a neighbor inspecting the commotion with the lid of a pan, inflicting cuts on him.

Police say Robles then broke into a van and tore up the interior.

She allegedly threatened arriving officers with a copper pipe and was subdued with a stun gun.

The mother's injuries were not life-threatening.
