OREM — It seems like every child goes through a destructive phase growing up, perhaps giving birth to the exasperated phrase, "This is why we can't have nice things."

You can't really blame children, as breaking things on occasion and making giant messes is inevitable when curious little minds are learning about the world around them. Yes, likely most of the time little ones don't mean to break things, but everyone has known a child who breaks things on purpose when they're in tantrum mode.

Orem company FiberFix is sympathetic the plight of broken house goods, and they made a funny commercial to prove it. The ad follows one particularly destructive boy as he tears through his home, breaking various items that you would normally throw away once broken.

Instead, dad goes to the garage to patch everything up with FiberFix, a tape that is "100 times stronger" than duct tape. Amidst his repairs, dad gets an idea, an awful idea, an awful, wonderful idea. This fictionally exasperated dad makes a piñata out of the hard-to-destruct tape, then watches with satisfaction as his son finally encounters something he can't break.

Some men just want to watch the world burn.
