SURREY, British Columbia — After an argument between her divorced parents, a 6-year-old gives a stirring lecture about how important it is for mom and dad to be friends.

Cherish Sherry posted the video of her daughter, Tiana, on Facebook on Sept. 16, and the video has almost 10 million views as of the writing of this article. Sherry says in the post that Tiana saw a fight between her parents, so she took it upon herself to extol the importance of kindness and friendship.

The ideas of calming down and being kind are things taught to virtually every kindergartner in North America, but what makes the video particularly compelling and moving is the level of Tiana's articulation and complex thinking within the context of her parents' divorce.

Tiana not only uses herself as an example of how she's doing her best so everyone else can do their best to make things calm, but she uses an apt mean-people-are-actual-monsters metaphor that would impress any high school English teacher if they read it in a student's paper.

Reading about it won't truly convey the tenderness of Tiana's heart, so watch the video to see and hear what a future world peacemaker looks like.

Even if you don't watch the video, part with perhaps Tiana's wisest words: "My heart is something. Everyone else's heart is something too."
