SALT LAKE CITY — Taylor Swift fans beware: purchasing tickets from unauthorized outlets for Friday's sold-out show in Salt Lake City may put you at risk of being turned away at the door.

Officials issued a warning to concertgoers about fake ticket schemes, reminding the public that the only legitimate sources through which one can purchase tickets to the Sept. 4 show are Smith's Tix outlets, EnergySolutions Arena box office and website and through Flash Seats — a site that allows people to buy, sell and transfer tickets.

Fans who try to present fraudulent tickets will be turned away at the door, and they won't be able to receive a refund, EnergySolutions representatives said.

Back in April, two girls from Salt Lake City took an unconventional route to win tickets to the show, folding 1,989 paper cranes for Swift's mother, who has cancer. The girls were awarded with swag and concert tickets, along with a signed guitar.

Swift's "The 1989 World Tour" kicked off earlier this year and will visit eight countries over its course.
