LOS ANGELES — The 1990s are back!

Indeed, you may have noticed more shorteralls, baby tees and grunge flannel in a store near you. Or perhaps you've heard one of your favorite '90s hits on the radio or as part of your unavoidable experiences with Muzak tracks while shopping.

Whether you welcome or shun the experience of reliving the 1990s, there is one recent event of present meeting the past that is more likely to please the masses than not.

At her Aug. 26 concert in Los Angeles, Taylor Swift introduced a special guest to sing a special song for the first time ever outside of a coffee house called Central Perk. That's right, Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow) of the TV show "Friends" takes the stage, and the pair warbles through a rendition of Buffay's most famous song, "Smelly Cat."

Of course, the whole thing was filmed by an excited concert-goer. Watch to see the performance, including a true-to-Phoebe-Buffay critique of Taylor Swift's performance.
