OGDEN, Utah (AP) — The Weber County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a 4-year-old girl died of an apparent drowning in an Ogden swimming pool.
The Standard-Examiner reports that emergency crews were called to a neighborhood pool party Saturday after an off-duty firefighter who was attending the event pulled the girl out of the water and attempted to resuscitate her.
Lt. Lane Findlay says that the victim's name will not be released because the incident is still an active investigation.
