THE ROAD — Turning 100,000 miles on your odometer is a rite of passage that must be celebrated, no matter the level of enthusiasm.

When our family car — a two-tone beige and white Volkswagen Bus — was about to pass this epic mile marker sometime in the early 1980s, we certainly took time to celebrate.

My dad and mom packed us nine kids into the car and drove around in circles in Provo until the 100,000-mile moment. We piled out of the car at Memorial Park on Center Street and 800 East and celebrated with cheers and cake. We still talk about it to this day.

While these two guys also celebrated when their vehicle hit 100,000 miles, their celebrations went a little differently than they did for my family.

I would feel like a heel if I ruined the surprise of their celebration, but I will tell you this 12-second video celebration will not disappoint.
