OGDEN CANYON — A 50-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident about 10:15 a.m. Sunday on state Route 39 in Weber County, Weber County sheriff's deputies said.
According to the Weber County Sheriff's Office, the man was traveling west on S.R. 39 when he apparently lost control of his motorcycle as it rounded a curve, landing in a ravine near the Monte Cristo campground. Excessive speed may have contributed to the accident, deputies said.
The man's name was not released pending notification of relatives.
