Cache Valley is a peaceful escape nestled between majestic mountains. It's also a land of delightful dairy farms, stunning fall foliage and some of the friendliest folks anywhere.

The city of Logan is home to Utah State University, affordable accommodations, and delicious restaurants. It's only a 10-minute drive from the National Forest and also flaunts remarkable performing arts.

Summer is overflowing with electrifying performances. Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre boasts performers from Broadway, the Met, and the nation's greatest stages for 131 shows, concerts, and classes from July 8-Aug. 8. Come see "Man of La Mancha," "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," "Carousel," and "La Bohème."

There are free concerts every day at noon in the historic Tabernacle, as well as the Lyric Repertory Company's four professional productions, all in Logan's downtown theater district. Tickets are astoundingly affordable. Come discover your own adventure in Logan and Cache Valley.

  1. San Juan County: Parade, antique tractor pull, free concert in the park; vendor booths games and more on July 24-25.
  2. Carbon County: Price, UT International Days. Entertainment for the entire family. Concerts, fireworks and fun.
  3. Flaming Gorge: Paddling is a unique way to experience the abundant waters of Flaming Gorge Country.
  4. Uintah County: Vernal's Dinsoaur Roundup Rodeo (July 9-11) is the largest outdoor event in the basin. Thousands of people and thousands in prize money.
  5. Heber Valley: Take a front row seat to our once in a lifetime views. This is Heber Valley.
  6. Bear Lake: Alaskan Salmon BBQ, Raspberry Days, relax on the beach and more!
  7. Kanab: Kanab's celebration of its rich Western Movie heritage, this year featuring appearances from Bruce Boxleitner, Barry Corbin, and other famous stars (Aug. 24-29).
  8. Box Elder County: Willard Bay State Park, recreation for the family and historic sites.
  9. Salt Lake: Utah's statehood celebration include parades, pageants and Utah's largest rodeo, Days of 47, July 12-25.
  10. Moab: Moab Music Festival — music in concert with the landscape (Sept 3-14).
  11. Cedar City: Cedar Breaks Wildflower Festival — Abundant displays of wildflowers celebrated with specials activities, tours and classes (Through July 19).
  12. Bryce Canyon: Bryce Canyon Geology Festival — Bryce Canyon National Park is known for its stunning geology—especially the colorful rock spires called "hoodoos."
