SALT LAKE CITY — The Salt Lake Bees hit two home runs, but were unable to hold an early lead against the Oklahoma City Dodgers, falling 11-5 Tuesday night at Smith's Ballpark.

Efren Navarro hit his second home run of the year with the Triple-A club on a two-run shot to right field in the first and Alfredo Marte hit a second home run in as many days on a drive to left field in the fourth, his fourth of the year.

The Los Angeles Dodgers' No. 1 prospect Corey Seager reached base four times as he continued a hot streak going 4-for-5 with two doubles and two singles while walking once, driving in one run and scoring twice. OKC drove in nine of its 11 runs with two outs, including eight between the fourth and fifth inning, and another in the eighth.

Bees pitcher Nick Tropeano (2-2) was beat up to the count of seven earned runs in his first meeting against his former club, giving up nine hits and walking four, tied for the most walks given up by a Bees pitcher this season. Bees relief pitching then gave up four more runs on nine hits between four pitchers over the final five and two-thirds innings. Scott Baker (3-3) earned the win for the Dodgers, giving up five earned runs on seven hits over six innings.

Salt Lake completes an eight-game homestand with two more games against the Dodgers, including an early 12:05 pm start time on Thursday, before hitting the road for series' against Memphis and Nashville.
