CAPITOL REEF — This Memorial Day weekend has seen its share of extreme weather throughout the state, captured in photos and videos by many.

In particular, Capitol Reef National Park has seen downpours and resulting flooding. Sunday, the Upper Muley Twist Canyon was hit. The canyon is normally a dry wash, meaning it's not fed by any springs and only flows when it storms hard.

Storm hard it did over the weekend, and KSL's Dave Cawley was there to capture it. These three videos are of the Upper Mulley Twist area, along with still photos taken above Capitol Reef and the surrounding area Sunday.
