PRICE — Three men were arrested Saturday after Price police say they found 135.9 grams of meth and nearly 16 grams of heroin in a car during a traffic stop.

An officer pulled Christopher Thomas Gill over for stopping in a crosswalk and having a burned out headlight just after 9:30 p.m., according to Price Police Capt. Bill Barnes.

The car was occupied by three other people, in addition to Gill. The officer spotted drug paraphernalia in the back seat and called for additional officers to help him, Barnes said.

During a search of the car, officers found meth and heroin, Barnes said. They also found a number of prescription pills, a large folding knife, drug paraphernalia and more than $5,000 in cash, the captain said.

Gill, 41, was booked into the Carbon County Jail for investigation of drug possession with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon by a restricted person and the traffic offenses.

Police also arrested Jeremy Charles Saccomanno and Jeff Andrew Vigil. Saccomanno, 39, was booked into jail for investigation of drug possession, possession of drug parapharnalia and a seat belt violation. Vigil, 37, was booked for investigation of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The fourth person in the car was not arrested, Barnes said.
