Hi, I'm Dan Smith from Fish Tech Outfitters. You thinking about going after some Tiger Muskie and Northern Pike? Here's a few items you might want to take with you.

So if you're fishing for northerns down in Yuba, you want to imitate the bait fish. A carp, and also a perch are the two main forages down there. And if you're going after Tiger Muskie at Joe's Valley, you need to imitate the forage which is a chub, a rainbow trout, and also a splake.

Also, I would get some chatter baits. This is something that people really don't utilize here and that's a Johnsons Silver Millow with a Mugambo tailing grub on the back. Another thing would be spinner baits.

Now if you're a fly guy, get you an assortment of flies that imitate what's in the lake. Also, you better use like a 7, 8 or a 9-weight rod, because these things have got some power.

One more thing, use a Bogo Grip so you don't get your fingers close to the mouth. Also get a big net because these are big fish. If you have any questions, come on down to Fish Tech and we'll help you out. Now for tonight's Fishing Line.
