LOGAN — Utah State released its football schedule more than a month ago, but television partners almost always have the final say in scheduling.

In the Aggies’ case, it means three more nationally televised contests.

Utah State gained three Friday night broadcasts through ESPN and CBS, the Mountain West Conference announced Wednesday in a release that moved 11 total games to Thursday or Friday night for primetime television slots with the league’s national broadcast partners.

The Aggies’ home game against Boise State was moved up to Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. The contest, which features two of the projected top teams in the Mountain division, will air on CBS Sports Network.

Utah State will also play at San Diego State on a Friday night, with an Oct. 23 game at 8:30 p.m. airing on ESPN2. The Aggies will then turn around and host Wyoming the following Friday, Oct. 30 at 8:15 p.m., also on ESPN2.

The flex scheduling package brings Utah State’s total number of Friday night football games to four in 2015. The Aggies’ game at Utah was moved up to Sept. 11 at the request of Utah and the Pac 12’s television partners. Broadcast details for that game are yet to be determined.

Utah State opens the 2015 season on a Thursday with a Sept. 3 kickoff at Maverik Stadium against in-state foe Southern Utah.

In 2014, Utah State played 11 games on the CBS and ESPN family of networks.

In addition to CBS and ESPN, the remaining Aggie football games could also air on ROOT Sports and/or stream online on the Mountain West's website.

Boise State had the most games moved to Friday night by the Mountain West’s TV partners, including the Broncos’ season opener against Washington on Sept. 4 at 8:15 p.m. That game will air on ESPN.
