[Utah's Castle Country](http://www.ksl.com/ad_logger/ad_logger.php?location=http://www.castlecountry.com/& sponsor=EYOB-Carbon-body1) has always been a home for adventure with stellar hiking and biking but on May 16, 2015, it is set to unveil its new ATV trails which promise to take adventure to another level.

If you and your family are looking to start your summer off on the edge, you may want to consider this bumpy section of Utah on the outskirts of Price. Here are just a few reasons to explore your own backyard this year and visit Utah's Castle Country.

Grand opening of new Castle Country Trail System, May 16, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The Beehive State is no stranger to outdoor fun. In fact, one thing that makes Utah stand out is the incredible trail systems for ATVs across the state. With more than 250 miles of new trails, Carbon County boasts fun for families this spring with a grand opening of the new Castle Country Trail System.

The grand opening will take place on May 16, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include free trail rides for all skill levels as well as free food and activities. Just make sure you don't forget to bring your own helmet.

If you aren't planning on riding ATVs yourself, you may enjoy the USRA Motocross Race on May 16, as well. Featuring a newly built track, concessions and fun for the entire family, you can't go wrong attending this event.

In the spirit of exploring your own backyard, here's a list of some other events happening around the great state of Utah.
