PROVO, Utah (AP) — A former Ancestry.com executive pleaded not guilty Friday after being accused of sexually abusing his daughter's teenage friend in Utah.

The Daily Herald reports that 50-year-old Daniel D. Taggart of Highland pleaded not guilty Friday to eight separate counts. He is accused of felony charges including rape, sodomy and sexual abuse.

The 15-year-old girl told police she visited Taggart's daughter in July 2014. He allegedly provided alcohol and suggested games, including a "twerking" contest with sex toys as prizes.

The girl claims the sexual abuse began when Taggart put on a pornographic video after his daughter fell asleep.

Ancestry.com said Taggart is a former executive who left the company 15 years ago.

Taggart's attorney Stephen R. Allred could not immediately be reached for comment.
