SOUTH OGDEN — An 11-month-old girl was hospitalized in critical condition Saturday after nearly drowning in the bathtub.
The girl's mother called 911 to report that her daughter had swallowed bath water around 2:30 p.m., according to South Ogden Police Sgt. Trent Olsen.
Olsen said the child was rushed to Ogden Regional Hospital. She was later flown by medical helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Olsen said police do not suspect foul play, but are still investigating.
