SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS — Porter Gustin and Osa Masina are taking a break from the high school basketball season to represent Utah on a national stage.

The two 4-star linebackers will play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be televised on NBC and KSL on Saturday at 11 a.m.

"It’s definitely a big honor for me and my family representing Utah and Brighton High School,” said Masina. “It’s awesome.”

“I watched it growing up so it’s definitely an honor to play in it for once,” Gustin said. “It will be a little different this year. I won’t be watching it. It’s a lot of fun and a good experience.”

Both players are excited to represent Utah and show the other all-Americans that Utah kids can play with the best in the country.

It speaks a lot about Utah football. You know, we are not just some mediocre state with mediocre players. We've got great kids, great teams and great coaches.
