ROOSEVELT, Duchesne County — Police are offering a cash reward for help in arresting a man who broke into a laundromat early Christmas morning.
At 4:16 a.m., security cameras inside Kody's Laundromat, 71 N. 200 East, recorded images of a man breaking in. The man also broke some of the video cameras, according to a Roosevelt Police Department Facebook post, but investigators were still able to get several images of him.
The burglar got away with over $1,000, according to Roosevelt police detective Pete Butcher. Surveillance images show him wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored hoodie and black sneakers. He also had a knife on him while committing the crime, police said.
Anyone with information on the identity of the burglar is asked to call the Roosevelt Police Department at 435-722-4558. Information that leads to an arrest and conviction will be rewarded with the cash offering.
