SANDY — The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium penguins helped promote the upcoming movie, “Penguins of Madagascar” by “painting” movie posters and it’s adorable.
The penguins “autographed” the posters by walking across them with paint on their feet at the aquarium Tuesday afternoon. Penguins are already adorable with their shuffling walk and little flippers, but when they leave blue and red footprints behind as well, it's an overload of cuteness.
The aquarium partnered with Megaplex Theatres to promote the “Penguins of Madagascar” movie that premiers Thursday.
“We are thrilled to partner with our friends at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium to help draw attention to the amazing work they do in conservation and education within our community,” Megaplex Theatres president Blake Andersen said in a news release. “The Penguins of Madagascar is an adorable animated feature that is perfect for families to enjoy this holiday weekend.”
The “Penguins of Madagascar” is a spin-off of the Madagascar film series and features the spy penguin group, Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private. Families interested in attending the premiere can enter to win a prize package including Megaplex movie tickets, tickets to the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium, gift cards and an “autographed” movie poster.
