SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah football team sustained its worse loss of the season Saturday night, falling to No. 15 Arizona 42-10.

The Utes offense struggled all game and never really found its footing in an important game for Pac-12 South division standings. Behind starting quarterback Travis Wilson, Utah's first four drives of the game resulted in a three-and-out.

The #Utes pass offense never found its identity this season. The injuries didnt help, but the playcalling has been suspect. — C Newman (@Newmanslogic) November 22, 2014

At the end of the first quarter, Wilson had thrown for -4 yards and was -1 rushing. Wilson's struggled continued in the second quarter by throwing an interception, leading up to a 14-0 lead for Arizona.

Being bad on offense is like a slump in baseball..it messes w/ your head.it's not the ability on the field. More mental to me — Jake murphy (@Jake_Murphy82) November 22, 2014

Utah was able to switch the momentum at the end of the first half and at the start of the second half, but Arizona continued to pick apart Utah's defense and the offensive game plan. Arizona would go on to score 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.

I'm glad I stayed home. The Utes apparently made the same decision. Better clean it up or you're going to lose to Colorado next week. — Bryan Kilpatrick ⚾ (@purplerowBK) November 22, 2014
