SALT LAKE CITY — Dancing violinist Lindsey Stirling already wows fans with her unique performances, and now, she’s defeating dragons with her violin.
Channeling her inner nerd, Stirling performs a sequence from "BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition," an action role-playing video game, in her latest YouTube video.
In the video, Stirling dually plays peacefully on a mountain and furiously at the feet of the dragon.
Stirling role plays similarly to the video game.
Clad in a medieval dress, she mourns the death of a friend and runs from the dragon that killed him.
When the dragon catches her, her violin seems to be the only thing that can save her.
In the end, brandishing her flaming bow seems to drive the dragon away.
Stirling, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be speaking to youths around the world Nov. 25 in an interactive, online fireside.
