ST. GEORGE — A woman was arrested after stealing about $1,800 worth of jewelry and 24 prescription pain pills Thursday, police said.

Nicole C. Jordan, 40, stole the items from a home near 1975 West and 1700 North in St. George around noon, according to a probable cause statement. The document states that she was arrested for two outstanding warrants after she was found in her boyfriend’s car.

When Jordan was arrested, officers said they found heroin and drug paraphernalia in her possession. She told investigators that she had injected herself with heroin several hours before meeting them, according to the probable cause statement.

Jordan was booked into the Washington County Jail and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, burglary and theft. Her outstanding warrants were for theft by deception and possession of a controlled substance, according to court records.
