OREM — The high school football playoffs begin Friday across the Wasatch Front, but playoff action wrapped up for Class 2A and 3A girls volleyball teams at Utah Valley University on Thursday night.

In 3A, Snow Canyon (25-4) held off a vigorous charge from Morgan (26-6) in the championship match to claim the state title. Morgan forced a winner-take-all fifth set, then tied up the final at 13-13 before the Warriors rattled off two straight to claim the match and send the title to St. George.

In the 2A finals, Delta (19-9) forced a major comeback in the fourth set, down 2-1 to defending champion Enterprise (27-8). The Rabbits were down nine points, but cut it to three — all on set points — before the final sideout gave the Wolves their second straight championship.
