PROVO, Utah (AP) — Cody Fajardo threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more in the second half as Nevada earned a come-from-behind, non-conference win at Brigham Young, 42-35, Saturday night.

Cody Stewart threw for three touchdowns, two of them to Mitch Matthews, as BYU built a 28-13 halftime lead.

Fajardo squeezed in from the 1 to cap a 13-play, 74-yard drive in the third quarter to cut the BYU lead to 28-20, then fired 18 yards to Richy Turner in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 28-28. Fajardo ran 25 yards for a score four minutes later to give the Wolf Pack (4-3) a 35-28 lead.

James Butler added a 6-yard run for a touchdown to make it 42-28, but BYU answered with an 8-yard, Stewart-to-Keanu Nelson touchdown pass. The Cougars fumbled in the final minute.

BYU (4-3) now has lost back-to-back home games for the first time since 2004.
