BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A father-daughter dance is an imperative tradition for most brides at their wedding, and Dr. Lisa Wilson Pantoja didn't skip out, even if it was in an untraditional setting.

Shortly after her wedding ceremony in her father's hospital room, Pantoja turns to tell her father it's time for their dance.

"I'm going to dance with your hands," Pantoja tells her father as he lay on his hospital bed.

Pantoja's father's unhealthy state and connective tubes didn't stop them from dancing cheek-to-cheek and twirling to Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."

There wasn't a dry eye in the room as family members and hospital staff watched the daddy-daughter duo share the memorable moment.

At the conclusion of the song, Pantoja presses her father's hands to her cheeks and tells him she will always love him.

"I love you sweetie," her father says as she kisses his cheeks.
