Idaho rollover accident kills Washington man, injures Utahns

JEROME, Idaho — A Washington man was killed and his Utah passengers were injured in a car accident just east of the Cottrell Port of Entry on Friday.

Robert Gary Tuttle, 69, of Seattle, died from injuries sustained after his truck left the road, went through a fence, rolled and came to rest in a field after 11 p.m. His passenger, Laurel Johnson, 44, of Murray, and a 12-year-old juvenile were both take by helicopter to Portneuf Regional Medical Center, according to an Idaho State Police news release.

The release also states that all occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
