COALVILLE — A missing Coalville man was found dead in a farm field near his home early Friday morning, police say.

Allen Broberg, 44, was found around 12:30 a.m. Friday by a bloodhound. Police are investigating the circumstances around his death but are not yet calling it suspicious.

Broberg's family called police Thursday night to report him as missing. Broberg told his parents he was going on a walk with the dog and they were concerned when the dog came back and he did not.

Investigators indicated that Broberg had a medical disability and was "described as intoxicated" when he was last seen.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
