WEST JORDAN — A teen crossed in front of a bus and was hit Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred near the front entrance of the West Jordan Middle School at 7550 S. Redwood Road around 4 p.m., according to West Jordan police officer Dan Roberts. A 14-year-old boy rode his bicycle across the crosswalk in front of the bus and then went back in front of the bus for an unknown reason, Roberts said.
The bus driver was turning into the school parking lot from Redwood Road at the time of the accident.
The teen was hit and possibly broke his leg in the accident, Roberts said. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
