ST. GEORGE — Clean-up efforts are underway at the St. George Public Library after heavy rains swamped the basement.
All meeting rooms at the building, 88 W. 100 South, will be closed and some services suspended for the next six to eight weeks, while clean-up crews and volunteers work to repair the water damage.
Heavy rains inundated the area last week, causing the flooding.
Since 2006, the building has seen rushing water three times, but never to this extent, officials said.
