SALT LAKE CITY- The Salt Lake Bees tied a season high with 18 hits on the way to an 11-2 victory over the New Orleans Zephyrs Tuesday night at Smith's Ballpark. The home offense was highlighted by 4-for-5 nights from Brennan Boesch and Grant Green as well as multi-hit outings from John Buck, Vance Albitz and Tony Campana. Dane De La Rosa (3-2) took the win as Elih Villanueva was handed the loss.

Bees starter Dane De La Rosa (3-2) took the win as Elih Villanueva was handed the loss.

Salt Lake opened the scoring early as J.B. Shuck led off the first inning with a double and Grant Green followed with shot over the left field fence. Later in the inning, Boesch singled and was brought home with a sacrifice fly off the bat of Ryan Wheeler. The Zephyrs responded with two runs in the second, but were quickly shut down as the Bees bats remained hot throughout the game. The home team managed four more runs in the third, three of them off a bases loaded triple from Shawn O'Malley, and scored twice in both the fifth and the sixth innings.

The Bees wrap up their 2014 campaign at home Wednesday at 7:05 p.m. at Smith's Ballpark. For more information or tickets visit slbees.com.
