FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Je-Vaughn Watson and Fabian Castillo scored second-half goals, and 10-man FC Dallas beat Real Salt Lake 2-1 on Friday night to make it a three-way tie atop the Western Conference.

FC Dallas (12-7-6) extended its undefeated streak to 10 games, while Real Salt Lake (11-5-9) lost for the first time in seven matches. Both teams are tied with Seattle with 42 points apiece.

FC Dallas' Blas Perez received his second yellow card of the match in the 45th minute for an embellishment intended to deceive the referee. Dallas scored five minute after halftime when Watson had a corner kick go off his chest and into the back of the net. Castillo outran the defense in the 74th minute and slotted a ball inside the far post for a 2-0 lead.

Olmes Garcia scored on a deflected bicycle kick in the 91st minute for Real Salt Lake.
