SALT LAKE CITY — A woman who police said was involved with two aggravated robberies was arrested Thursday.

Natalie Rhodes, 34, handed a note demanding money to an employee at a restaurant located at 102 W. South Temple at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department. She indicated in the note she had a gun, according to a probable cause statement.

She grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the register and left on foot, but was detained by employees after they caught up with her, police said. The money was quickly recovered and officers took possession of her weapon, according to Detective Dennis McGowan.

After Rhodes was taken into custody, police said detectives determined she was also involved in the robbery of Coffee Noir, located at 1035 E. 200 South, with a male accomplice on July 20. Rhodes used a note to demand money and indicate she was in possession of a weapon during that incident as well, according to police.

Police are still searching for her accomplice from the first robbery, 25-year-old Marshall James Roberts. He is a suspect in multiple robberies in Salt Lake City and elsewhere in the valley, according to McGowan.

Rhodes was arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated robbery and booked into jail.
