SALT LAKE CITY — Police said Thursday they were looking for the man they believe to be involved in four separate robberies across the city.

Marshall James Roberts, 25, is suspected of robbing Heath Care Credit Union, Coffee Noir, University of Utah Campus Store in Salt Lake, as well as Deseret Federal Credit Union in Murray. These robberies have all taken place since Sunday, July 20.

He may be involved with two additional cases in Salt Lake, Salt Lake City Police Department said.

The most recent robbery took place at the Deseret Credit Union at 6060 Fashion Place.

Wednesday around noon, a man wearing a University of Utah sweatshirt and khaki pants matching Robert's description gave the teller at the Murray credit union a note and proceeded to take the money the teller handed him. He then fled on a purple mountain bike.

Police said Roberts is a heroin addict and is known to stay at shelters or local motels. They released several images of Roberts, noting he may have shaved since the photos were taken.

Officials urged the public not to approach him.

SLCPD is offering a cash reward for information leading to Roberts' arrest. The department described him as a white male of thin build with curly hair and 6-foot 1-inch tall.

Anyone with information about his location can call the Salt Lake Police Department at 801-799-3000. If individuals prefer to remain anonymous, they can text 274637 with the keyword TIPSLCPD and relevant information. Texts should reference Coffee Noir or case number 14-124866.
