ENDOR — At this point it seems like just about every movie released is just filler until we get “Star Wars: Episode VII,” and that’s why we love every bit of news we get.
Episode VII director J.J. Abrams released a new video trying to get fans involved in the charity Force for Change.
Abrams made the video on the set of Episode VII in front of an X-Wing fighter, letting people know if they donate they can win a chance to shoot a scene for the film, be Abrams’ VIP guest on set and receive free airfare and hotel for two.
Abrams also let fans know that they can win a special early screening on Episode VII with 20 of their friends in their hometown.
While all of this sounds awesome and it’s for a really worthy cause, let’s be honest, you were just pumped about seeing the X-Wing. That’s fine, we felt the same way.
“Star Wars: Episode VII” is due in theaters Dec. 18, 2015.
