ENGLAND; CIRCA WORLD WAR II — The first trailer for the story of mathematician Alan Turing, “The Imitation Game,” has been released.

Turing was a British mathematician who was called upon to help crack Germany’s codes and help the allies win World War II.

Benedict Cumberbatch of the BBC’s “Sherlock” stars as Turing, and Matthew Goode, Keira Knightley and Mark Strong are also featured.

Two different trailers were released, one from The Weinstein Company and the other from Studio Canal. Each trailer is similar but manage to offer up some different footage from the other.

“The Imitation Game” is slated to release on Nov. 21, just in time for awards season.
