CLEVELAND, Texas (KPRC) — After more than 53 years, a Cleveland man was reunited with his sister Wednesday thanks to a Facebook connection and a lot of hard work from his wife.
Nelda Konieczny has worked for months to reunite the siblings.
"Knowing that they've been separated this long, it's hard," Konieczny said, tearfully.
Another relative reached out on Facebook with information about Roger Konieczny's sister.
"I thought about her a lot, and then I got this exciting phone call and it's been phone calls every day ever since," he said.
