SALT LAKE CITY — Sunday marks the 45th anniversary of the day man first set foot on the moon.
In honor of the momentous occasion, July 20 has been dubbed “Space Exploration Day.” Since the Apollo 11 crew landed on the moon, astronomers, astronauts and others have continued to explore the starry heavens both from Earth and outer space.
