CHARLOTTE, NC — Gordon Hayward will sign a max deal with the Charlotte Hornets, according to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. The deal would be worth $63 million over four years and can be signed on Thursday when the NBA free agency signing period begins.
The Utah Jazz will have 72 hours to match the offer to Hayward. According to Jody Genessy of the Deseret News, all indications point to the Jazz matching any offer.
Citing league sources, Wojnarowski reported the deal will include a player option on the fourth year, and a trade kicker.
