BLEATINGTON — The Internet is often a strange place where people who have too much time on their hands display their homemade video handiwork, from odd and quirky to downright bizarre.
YouTube user Marca Blanca is one such person. According to his channel, Marca’s goal is to create “low-cost humor” by putting a spin on something ingrained in pop culture.
For this video, Blanca scoured YouTube to find goats bleating in different keys and at different lengths to re-create John Williams’ famous theme to “Jurassic Park.” He spliced them together, and voila, something weirdly awesome was born on the Internet.
Yes, that sounds ridiculous, and it certainly is. But here’s the thing, it’s also incredibly happy and hilarious.
This isn’t the first time someone has “improved” the theme to Jurassic Park. Who can forget the melodious melodica cover? And while this doesn’t have anything to do with it, I can’t watch the melodica cover without thinking about the 20th Century Fox theme “remastered” majestically on a recorder.
Keep it up, Internet people. You’re doing good work keeping us entertained.
