WEST JORDAN — Police are looking for help identifying a man who is suspected of lewd behavior.

The man exposed himself to a woman at Deseret Industries on Redwood Road and left the store after she called to store employees, police said.

West Jordan Police Sgt. Dan Roberts said a man was inside the store, 7166 S. Redwood Road, about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, standing just a couple of feet away from a woman who was shopping. The woman turned and saw that the man's genitals were exposed, Roberts said.

The woman reportedly told the man he shouldn't be doing that, to which he replied, "I know," Roberts said. The man then walked out of the store as the woman alerted employees, police said.

He was described as a white male about 50 years old and 6-feet tall. He was dressed in a white T-shirt and red shorts and was wearing a baseball cap.

Anyone with any information as to the identity of this man is asked to call the West Jordan Police Department at 801-840-4000. Callers may reference case number 14H008554.
